Feb 18, 2009 MLS Integration and What it Means to YOU

Hundreds of quick!Office Commander users have been running their businesses faster, cheaper, more accurately and with less effort by implementing optional components that integrate with their MLS.  The extent of MLS integration in your territory depends on your Real Estate Board.  To get more information, send your inquiry to sales@les.ca.

The purpose of this newsletter is to highlight what each of the above means to you if you already have one or more of these optional features implemented, or how to get them if you don't.  
 
We encourage you to will lobby your MLS to get this implemented on your behalf.  We will provide you with the resources to do so.  Here is a complete list of existing  MLS providers and the extent of integration they support. 
 
Import Listings
 
With the push of a button all your office listings are automatically entered or updated, enabling Front Desk staff to focus on more profitable activities leading to the following benefits:
  1. The listing is entered only to your MLS (by support staff or Sales Associates). Whenever you IMPORT, and you can do it as often as your MLS allows, all details will be imported to quick!Office Commander. New listings are added. Listings already in quick!Office Commander are updated.
  2. Single or multiple photos can be imported and be used in Feature Sheets, including detailed information and photos, as well as to generate Showing Feedback requests.
  3. More listing details are available to Sales Associates and support staff, because when you have to type it, you may skip it.
  4. Listings have consistent information.
  5. Reduced errors in Commander since data is derived from the source.
  6. Reduced need to communicate listing details by Sales Associates, since it is imported directly from the MLS.  Price changes, sold status, and more are all managed by the program.
Import MLS Sales Associate Contact Information 
 
This feature enables you to pull contact information for ALL agents in your MLS into quick!Office Commander leading to the following benefits:
  1. Key contact information (name, company name, company phone numbers, and email address) is available to your support staff.
  2. When taking messages FROM another Sales Associate in your MLS, this information can be inserted into Message Pad.
  3. When booking appointments FOR a Sales Associate in your MLS, this information can be inserted into Appointment details.
  4. If Showing Feedback is implemented in your office, requests for feedback can automatically be sent to the e-mail imported from your MLS.
Online BOOK APPOINTMENT
 
Benefits of implementing the Online BOOK APPOINTMENT feature include the following;
  1. SECURE.  Sales associates must be logged into the MLS to use this feature, which means that the requestor is validated by the MLS and the listing office is 100% assured that the person requesting the showing via MLS online is a registered agent.
  2. Requests to see a listing are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Listing offices don't need to have staff available to record the request, and showing agents enjoy being able to book appointments 24 x 7 without having to wait on hold or waste time repeating their contact information.
  3. Listing offices reduce incoming calls, save time in not having to record the request for showing, and in many cases, can reduce phone lines.
  4. Some small, start-up companies have implemented a policy that all initial requests for showings are processed online. They have complete control of showings, history of showing request and messages, but without having to take the initial call.
  5. Comprehensive audit trails and automatic showing feedback requests complete the picture. 
  6. Messages can automatically be sent to Listing Agents and/or sellers when a request for showing is received by the system.
