Progress reports are sent home to EVERYONE every 4-5 weeks!  They are to be signed and returned to me.  Unsigned reports get a 0/10 points. 

Progress report dates for this year are weeks of September 14, November 16, February 8, and April 15 for Seniors/April 22 for 9th graders.

Available for after school help by appointment. Just come talk to me and we'll work out a mutually convenient time.

BONUS: READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY!

Ongoing--document occurrences of our vocabulary and allusions. Write 1) Where you saw/heard it (television show, newspaper, magazine, song, etc.), and 2) The sentence it was used in (or a close approximation of it).

Books, papers, radio, teachers, television shows, and movies are all good sources. They must be "naturally occurring." You may not just Google the words!!! Note: The word must occur in the sentence you heard, not just be an example of it!!
