Leslie Wilkinson is currently an MBA Candidate at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. 

Previously, she was Assistant Design Director for Technology & Nights at the Los Angeles Times. She also worked at The Charlotte Observer as News Design Team Leader, where she co-manages the six-person night design desk. In 8 years at the Observer, she was a 1A, metro and regional designer. Leslie helped coordinate the Observer’s election night coverage for 5 years. She also worked with the Observer's IT department in maintaining the newsroom’s CCI pagination system and trained new designers on the system.

Leslie received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. She spent two years as managing editor for visuals at The Daily Tar Heel, the student-run daily newspaper. Leslie also interned on the features design desk of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She completed a graduate-level certificate in communication and technology from UNC Chapel Hill in 2007. Leslie hails from Richmond, Va.
