Information: Dr. Rizzi received B.Sc. degree in Physics (2006) from Instituto de Física de São Carlos (IFSC) of Universidade de São Paulo (USP), and obtained M.Sc. (2009) and Ph.D. (2013) in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology from the Universidade de São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP). After this he spent two years as a Visiting Research Fellow at Dr. Stefan Auer' s group in the University of Leeds (UK), and another year as a postdoctoral fellow at UFRGS with Prof. Yan Levin. Since 2015 he is a Adjunct Professor (Lecturer) at the Departamento de Física (DPF) of Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). His research interests include: viscoelastic properties of soft matter, advanced Monte Carlo simulations, protein aggregation, phase transitions in frustrated systems, nucleation theories, magnetic/spins systems.
