Welcome to the webpage of Kyriacos Leptos!

Hello! My name is Kyriacos Leptos (Κυριάκος Λεπτός) and I have recently relocated to my home country Cyprus after spending 29 years in academic institutions in the US -- at Cornell University (4 years; BA) and Harvard University (8 years; PhD) -- and the UK -- at the University of Cambridge (17 years; RA and SRA).

I was until recently (June 2025) a Senior Research Associate (SRA) at the University of Cambridge in the research group of Professor Raymond Goldstein at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP).

From September 2025 until April 2026 I will participate in the "Pedagogical Training Program for Candidate Educational Officers in Secondary Education" (Πρόγραμμα Παιδαγωγικής Κατάρτισης Υποψήφιων Εκπαιδευτικών Λειτουργών Μέσης Εκπαίδευσης) offered at the University of Cyprus. The program includes both theoretical and practical courses.
