In con-junction with the Harvest Feast at Drumshanbo, Leitrim Landscapes Guided Walks guides Tina & Nuala took a group to Corry Mountain, Drumkeeran. Walkers were given the fascinating history of the coal mining in the area. We also visited the windfarm operated by Ecopower
It was a day for 'solar power' as the sun shone throughout our walk. Hopefully, we'll be there again in 2010 during the festival. The sun ALWAYS shines on our walk days!
Laura celebrated her 3oth birthday on Corrie mountain (Seltan na Saggart in Irish, meaning the Willow Plantation of the Priest) We celebrated with a poppy seed cake made by Tina | |
