You have just been hired by the Discovery Channel to create a 2-3 minute animated movie.  Your challenge is to accurately tell the story about a scientist or scientific discovery. 

You are to research a scientist or inventor and write a script describing their work, discovery, or invention.  Write the script in the first person style.  Create a Lego model depicting your scientist.  The model should portray a time and place of the person's life or work.

Using the Lego model take 60 photographs of the scene showing the main character moving.  Import the photographs into iMovie, create a 2 – 3 minute animation. You may use additional photographs, if they enhance the final product. Write a script and use your script to narrate the movie.

Script Elements

Your movie should include important details such as;

the time and place of the discovery,

the inventor's close family members or professional associates,

the person's contribution to science or technology,

why the person chose to do this work,

challenges the person had to overcome,
