Legacy Grants 2009

Legacy Grants 2009

Through Legacy Grant funding, SUCCEED will support preliminary activities that build toward the implementation of effective strategies for promoting breast and cervical cancer screening and early detection among African American women, with an emphasis on medically underserved women in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Legacy Grant funding will support communities by providing pilot funds for the initiation or further development of capacity to implement evidence-based strategies for promoting breast and cervical screening among African American women in response to national racial disparities in breast and cervical cancer.
