Walking in the Charente Limousine

The Charente Limousine offers beautiful scenery all year round. A great way to explore this lovely countryside is to go on a walk. There are lots of trails and little backroads that take you through small rural hamlets, round the lakes and to friendly sleepy towns.
We offer our guests various routes and IGN maps to choose from, with various distances and possibilties for hikes of one or more days. Most roundwalks begin and end on Le Douvet. But we can also bring you to a place from which you walk your way back to our farm. This is an excellent way to discover the Grand Route 48 (GR48) for instance. This trail comes from the direction of Confolens, passes Suris and follows the direction of Rochechouart. It is signposted very well and we can even provide you with a little guide and maps to help you find your way.Would you like to walk for several days and explore the hospitality of different B&B's in the area?
