From Saturday May 14th till Saturday May 21st         we organize a painting workshop accompanied by the

experienced teacher, Sam Hayes.

 

A couple of years ago Sam and his wife moved from the UK to the Charente Limousine where he now teaches at his own studio, Art for All. 

 

At Le Douvet we work with small groups of up to 10 participants. All ages and standards, everyone can participate and will receive individual attention. You'll work with different techniques and materials. Easel, paper, paint and brushes are available.

 

Arrival on Saturday after 15:00. Sunday is a day off, allowing you to settle in and explore the area. The lessons will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and start every day after breakfast at 10:00. Lunch break around 12:30. Then back to work until about 16:30 and finishing off by evaluating the days work. Dinner will be served around 19:00.

Wednesday is a day off as well. It's a great opportunity to visit the market at Piégut Pluviers or visit one of the many castles nearby. You also have the opportunity to continue working on your painting skills independently.

 

Prices for this full board painting course range from 400 to 450 Euros per person depending on the desired accommodation. Please contact us for more information on the availability of our accommodations.

Pickup from the airport (Limoges) or trainstation (Limoges or Chabanais) can be arranged against a small fee.

The minimum number of participants is 5 people. If we don't reach that number before Easter 2011 we reserve the right to cancel the course.
