Le Douvet is de name of our 200 year old farm, close to the charming little village of Suris in the Charente Limousine.
In this calm and rural part of France we found our new home. In the summer of 2007, after a journey of almost two years with our horses and carriage, we fell in love with this abandoned old farm and it's surroundings and started a big renovation project. Today Le Douvet has come to live again and is now home to us and our animals as well as to our guests.
We offer a range of spacious accommodations be it on a small scale. A cottage (or gite) for 4 people and B&B with a bed on the former hayloft in the barn, which also sleeps 4 people.
For campers we have our one-acre mini-campsite for caravan, camper van or tent. Or try a different way of camping and rent our gypsy wagon which sleeps 2 and is also parked on our mini-campsite.
Life here is calm and relaxed. We simply appreciate everyday life and want to accommodate you accordingly by offering you a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. |
