We are a non-profit organization serving gardeners in greater Lebanon. Our goals are — Promote & encourage the art of gardening & the study of horticulture; Aid in the protection & conservation of native trees, shrubs, wildflowers & natural resources; Promote civic beauty & roadside improvements; & Cooperate with other agencies interested in these projects.

Strawberry Festival
Home of "World's Largest Shortcake"
MAY 31 - JUNE 3, 2012,
Cheadle Lake Regional Park, Santiam Hwy at Weirick Dr, south of town

After being featured in the Grand Parade Saturday morning, the "World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake" is driven to Cheadle Lake Park and served free to over 20,000 spectators.

Strawberry Festival is a local summer highlight with the Junior and Grand Parades, a Strawberry 5K Run and One Mile Health Walk, Carnival, Fireworks Display, Open Air Country Fair, Queen's Coronation, the Garden Club's Standard Flower Show and many other community events.

The Strawberry Festival website if filled with updated applications, schedules, and many photos. However, you must come to the park Saturday afternoon the taste the delicious shortcake.
