The following organizations have come together to make Rochester's 175th anniversary History of Learning Through Inspiring Stories possible: Rivers Run/Living Communities: Rivers Run, our primary sponsor, is an independent 55+ active senior community with a focus on lifelong learning. Thanks to collaborative efforts with the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rivers Run community members attend classes, use the athletic facilities and participate in campus life. The people that reside at Rivers Run can take part in an exciting, vibrant, academic community with people of all ages. Warner School: The University of Rochester’s graduate school of education and human development GRAPS: Greater Rochester Area Private Schools: The Greater Rochester Association of Private Schools is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of private education. The organization is focused on serving as a valuable community resource and providing support to their members. Rochester area private schools have been making a difference in families' lives for more than a century. They have the independence to adapt to and prepare students for our rapidly changing world. NYSUT: The New York State United Teachers--NYSUT--works to improve the professional, economic and personal lives of our members and their families, strengthens the institutions in which they work, and furthers the cause of social justice through the trade union movement. NYSUT is one of the largest statewide unions, representing more than 600,000 professionals in education, health care and government. Monroe #2 BOCES: The Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES provides more than 60 separate services to nine component districts and beyond. Programs include: joint management services, a career and technical high school, Education for Exceptional Children, adult education, the Elementary Science Program and Communication and Technology Services.
