In the Docklands area of East and South East London we need more ringers to help man the ropes. Ringing is a stimulatrng team activity, which people of all ages can enjoy If you are interested in learning to ring tower bells, we have an introductory course starting on 1st March 2009.
We offer a mix of Sunday afternoon and weekday evening lessons, and we will deliver these at locations convenient for those who wish to learn.
It will take about ten lessons to have you ringing 'rounds' within the rest of the team, and you will then be able to join in with one of our regular weekly practices which are are held at: | We also have a regular programme of Sunday Service ringing at all our Churches, and will increase the frequency if we train more ringers from a particular parish. If you join one of the local teams, there will be no charge. Otherwise there will be a charge of £4 per lesson to cover our expenses. |
