The Learn2Book Viewdata simulator is based on the common features of large tour operators’ reservation systems and a great deal of effort has gone into ensuring that youwill actually feel you are booking holidays on a live system. Learn2Book is based upon a fictional tour operator called Parasol Holidays. The company sell holidays to Majorca and it is your job, as fictional travel agents, to make bookings for a range of customers.
Learn2Book includes bookings for families, single people, groups of friends and couples indeed, everything you would find in a high street agency.
In order to select holidays, a copy of Parasol Holidays' Summer Sun brochure is included with Learn2Book. The brochure is a copy of a large tour operator's brochure. The Summer Sun brochure is used in conjunction with the software, as you refer to the brochure for codes and information, just like travel agents do, throughout the sessions.
Once the holiday has been chosen from the brochure, you will make the booking on PARS- Parasol Holidays Reservation system.
