Description:

N.E.E.D.S was designed to serve low-income initiative families, it provides childcare for children ages six weeks through five years. It also offers a Teen prevention program on various weekends offering activities ranging from field trips, community involvement with either churches or other organizations, or motivational speakers.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Students may volunteer working in-class with the children for the day care, assisting with arts and crafts, developmental stages, or helping with math/reading skills. Students may also work with the teen prevention program as it is offered as field trip assistants or whatever is needed.

Requirements:

There is an application, the student must submit a schedule they intend to keep, and fill out an OCSL service log.
