Homey, simple and country. This is not intended to be a luxury resort. Kitchen has full size fridge, breakfast bar, microwave and stove with oven. Bathroom has shower over tub. Cooled by evaporative cooler. It's a nice quiet place in the country just outside of downtown in North Lakeport. We provide basic furnishings but you supply your own "towels to teacups". B.O.B. (Bring your Own Bedding) Laundry is in town. Public transportation is available.

Highway 29 passes right through Lakeport. Going North, take Park Way exit until you get to the lake (Clear Lake). Turn left on Lakeshore Blvd. (Watch out, every town around Clear Lake has a Lakeshore something or other ...we are in Lakeport.)
Heading North again (toward the hospital side of town) go less than a mile, the water is on your right, The El Dorado Motel sign will be on your left across from Rocky Point Road.
The El Dorado Motel, previously known as the El Dorado Botel, was built in 1956 a time where folks from the Bay Area found Clear Lake to be a good summer habit for weekend retreats. Again, affordability has to be a consideration for many vacationers. Then this can be your quiet, affordable getaway. Make the El Dorado Motel of Lake County...your habit!
