Suzanne Beadle, assistant-director

Suzanne Beadle has been the assistant director for five years.  Music has always been at the core of her life; a soul nurturing experience, especially singing.  Having grown up in Ann Arbor, Suzanne appreciates the incredible music instructors she has fortunate to work with over the years in both band and choir.  They helped establish a solid musical foundation and fostered her lifelong love of performing.  Suzanne graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.  At U of M, she marched in the Michigan Marching Band where she met Kirk, her wonderful husband of almost 25 years.  It is a special joy watching their children’s band performances, carrying on the musical legacy.  Sarah is in the Fighting Pirate Marching Band and wind ensemble, and Kyle is now a member of the Michigan Marching Band.  Suzanne also works part time for a computer software firm in Ann Arbor.

Throughout her adult life, Suzanne has enjoyed singing for weddings.  She has appeared in several musical productions with the Pinckney Players and joined the Women's Chorus in 2000.  The additional challenge of conducting has been very rewarding, and working with these wonderful ladies as well as performing with them has been a privilege and a pleasure.
