~Pastors Message I have heard many students say that they have felt truly welcomed at LCM. Colorado State is a large University with lots of people. Lutheran Campus Ministry works with students to provide a hospitable place for students, faculty and staff to come and worship together. We are funded by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (hence our name), but we welcome everyone, Christians, non-Christians, agnostics, atheists, Buddhists, Jews and Muslims, etc to hear the word of God and to share their insights and questions. It is also very important to us as a group to provide a welcome to the folks in the GLBT community.
Lutheran Campus Ministry at CSU was established in 1956 and our chapel was built in 1967.
As the current pastor I have been at LCM/CSU since February 1, 1997. I have a Master’s in Divinity and a Master’s in Social Work. It has been a joy and a privilege to do be involved in ministry with and for young adults. It is easy to see God’s hands at work in the students at CSU. It is exciting for me to be a part of a place where worship and bible study are valued.
We work to reach out to young adults where they are and we are frequently seen on campus listening to students, faculty and staff.
~Blessings, Pastor Connie Winter-Eulberg Our vision statement reflects our beliefs: "To experience and share the adventure of life with Jesus."
We
center this ministry around worship. The spiritual well-being of CSU
students is our main ministry and we work toward spiritual wellness
through worship, prayer and bible study. We also believe that
leadership training, social events and service learning are also
beneficial activities that we do to further our spiritual growth.
We
are a ministry to and by students which welcomes faculty and community
members. In worship, an effort is made to use language that is
inclusive, and we try to use images of God that represent the fullness
of biblical witness.
We welcome people of all creeds, races, and sexual orientations. We are also a "Reconciling in Christ" campus ministry. For
us this means that we work to fully welcome people who are gay,
lesbian, bisexual and transgendered. We work to have on-going study to
look at what this means for us as a group. For more information see:

Blessings to you!
