The Livingston County Chorale will be hosting the inaugural “Sounds of Spring”, a special evening of fine dining and local musical talent.  The event will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 6 – 9 p.m., at the lovely Oak Pointe Country Club, 4500 Club Drive, Brighton, Michigan, 48116.   

This “first annual” event is destined to become a tradition, offering a preview of spring musical productions by talented, local organizations.  In addition to the Chorale ensembles, featured groups include quartets from the Livingston County Concert Band, Livingston Symphony Orchestra, and Pinckney High School Jazz Band; along with ensembles from the Community Theatre of Howell, the Pinckney Players, St. Mary Magdalen Church Music Ministry and Brighton High School Chamber Choir.

In addition to outstanding entertainment, the evening includes appetizers, dinner, dessert and cash bar. Tickets are $25 and available at Brighton Tux Shop, Schafer’s House of Music, or by e-mail at soundsofspring@live.com.
