I am an associate professor in the Educational Foundations Department at Millersville University. I completed my Ph.D. and M.A. at University of Delaware in Cognition, Development and Instruction and my B.A. at Temple University in Psychology. I teach courses in Educational Psychology and Research Methods to graduate and undergraduate students. My research interests center around the development of mathematical cognition in children with learning disabilities and children's achievement perceptions. I am presently serving as a co-editor of Teaching Educational Pscyhology and serve as a grant reviewer for the Special Education Panel, Institute of Education Sciences.
