On Saturday, April 25th, twenty-four of our Superstar staff participated in the Scotland Memorial Fitness Festival!  Staff members looked like a "flock of pink flamingoes" according to one eyewitness.  The festival included the first ever ½ marathon, a 5k run/walk, and a 10k run/walk.  The festival raised money for the Scotland Treatment Center.  Staff members enjoyed a morning of fun and exercise while showing how proud we were to work at Laurel Hill Elementary School!

WOW!! Last night's Grammy Night was a huge success!  Over 170 students sang their hearts out.  The gym was packed with parents, friends, and neighbors.  First place went to Mrs. Armstrong's 3rd grade class.  Second place went to Smart's 3rd class.  Third place went to Mrs. Peed's 4th grade class.  Every class did a wonderful job and they are all winners!  Each student who performed last night received a free book from the Book Fair, a brownie, and other various rewards from their teachers.  Laurel Hill is so proud of our students and their many talents.
