The i-movie project has definitely been one of my favorite projects this semester because I feel that I learned so much useful information! I loved being able to create a video that I can use to teach my students about something. I know when I was a student in elementary school, I would have been so much more interested in a topic if it had been introduced with a really neat video, so I'm excited to be able to use this in my own classroom someday.

Another aspect of i-movie I really enjoyed was that it's so multi-faceted, meaning that I can use it for a variety of different things in my classroom, not just for videos. I can use it to make a slide show with music behind it for an end of the year party. I could also let my students find pictures on the internet relating to a subject area, and we could put together a slide show with music about a certain unit we have been learning about.  Learning how to integrate this kind of technology in the classroom is going to be really important for me as a teacher especially because the children that I will be teaching will most likely be even more technologically advanced than me! For this reason, I think it's really important that I not only stay up to date with technology, but also that I use tools such as i-movie to enhance the learning environment of the students that I will one day be teaching.
