SoTL in General & Particular

This e-portfolio is the culmination of ten weeks of writing, thinking, reflecting and analyzing my teaching practices along with my students expectations, learning styles and abilities.  I've also spent countless hours reading articles, books, studies and essays involved with issues about SoTL generally, and various areas of interest for me particularly(the connection between film and student learning, and the connection between service learning and composition).  There are links to all of these things somewhere on this site.

While at times I've found this process to be very frustrating (mostly due to googlepages and my inability to change font colors or background colors or just about anything ...) I've also found it to be a really useful way for me to evaluate and reflect on my own teaching by reconsidering and  looking critically at the connections between specific assignments, rubrics and course goals.

That being said, feel free to follow the links to the left at your own pace to explore any of the listed locations.  Some areas within this e-portfolio are several layers into this website.  I've tried to put easy navigation tools at the top of every page, but if by chance one has eluded me, any previous pages can be accessed by hitting the back button on your browser.
