PDS Points

The following chart of PDS points have been updated and approved by the PDS Board on 24 Feb 2009. Note that for the inaugural implementation from Jan 2009 to Jan 2010, the number of required points is pro-rated to half for any one-year period from Jan 2008 to Dec 2009. The required points for various parts (i.e. ED, ID and PD) will be halved as well. The inaugural implementation is valid until the assessment quarter of Jan 2010. For example, a person applying for PDS award for the Apr 2009 assessment only need to accumulate 500 (instead of 1000) for activities undertaken from Apr 2008 to Mar 2009 (or from Mar 08 - Feb 09 or Feb 08 - Mar 09) [See chart in Application Schedule]. Applications after Jan 2010 assessment quarter will revert back to normal - i.e. 1,000 points for activities carried out in a 2 year period.
