Another 30 members have been granted the provisional award of Practising Professional (PP) after their professional development records were examined and approved by the Professional Development Scheme (PDS) Board and endorsed by Council for the assessment quarter Apr 2009.
The application forms submitted by successful candidates are now available for viewing.
If there are no objections on the validity of the records from LAS members within one month (i.e. until 22 Jul 2009), the award will be confirmed and the names of PPs will be listed in the LAS Website for the validity period, Apr 2009 to Mar 2011.
The success rate for this round is 88% out of 34 applications. 29% applications came from NLB, 24% NTU, 18% each from NUS and Singapore Poly, 9% from Temasek Poly and 3% from NAFA. The main reason for unsuccessful applications were mostly due to putting up activities in the wrong categories. We encourage these applicants to re-submit in the next quarter with additional items. |
