Hello and welcome to my little site.

SOLD OUT

! I am planning another run soon I will update here when I have more in stock.

I present to you my first product. A mini flexure mirror mount. I needed some for myself and machined some extra.
This probably will be a one time thing, get them while they last! I have some ideas for some other laser trinkets but I don't know if it is worth tooling up to make them if people don't want to buy this stuff.
These are not a money maker but hopefully proceeds will fund other gizmos.
  • They are about 1" x .45" x .9" . The usable mounting surface is about .5" tall.
  • They are made from 6061 Aluminum, anodized dark red.
  • They can be mounted with a 10/24 or a M5.
  • The adjustment screws are M3. You will need a 1.5mm Allen for the small screw and a 2.5mm for the large.
  • They are designed and precision machined on a Haas VF-3 CNC mill by myself.
  • They have 45 degree chamfer so you can glue a mirror on the 45 and have the mount angled straight.
  • They have had a run in a polisher to soften the sharp edges.
  • They have a small recess on the bottom to keep the x axis from rubbing on the table.

Just a couple of tips.
  • Remember that these are not intended to be MM1's. They are only meant to adjust a couple of degrees so try to have your beams as close as you can to start with.
  • Try not to get glue into the screw hole.
  • If you are using a cube you will need to use a hex bolt to mount the foot.
  • A washer in between the mounting screw will keep the mount from being marred and will make adjustment easier.
  • Remember that this is a push pull type of adjustment. You will need to loosen one screw in order to tighten the other.
  • When you have things adjusted you can tighten the other screw on that axis and lock things in place.
