I am currently co-editing, with Robbie Duschinsky, a volume entitled Foucault, the Family and Politics. Revamped Twentieth Century Think Tank website! Older News Between August 2010 and August 2011, I was D. Kim Foundation for the History of Science and Technology in East Asia Postdoctoral Research Fellow. I held this appointment at the Needham Research Institute and the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge. I was also Director of Studies in History and Philosophy of Science at St John's College, and Senior Member at Robinson College, Cambridge. Between August 2009 and August 2010, I was Lecturer in the History of Medicine at Yale University. Prior to the lectureship I was a PhD student at Clare College and the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge. My thesis was entitled "Sex, Eugenics, Aesthetics, Utopia in the Life and Work of Zhang Jingsheng 張競生 (1888-1970)", supervised by Professor John Forrester and Dr Susan Daruvala (Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies), and examined by Professor Hans van de Ven (Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies) and Dr Vivienne Lo (UCL Centre for the History of Medicine).
