MESSAGE FROM YOUR PTA PRESIDENT
Thank you for visiting the Lane Elementary Parent Teacher Association website, where you will find up to date information regarding information related to our school community and our PTA. The PTA encourages you to check back here often, "Like" us on Facebook (Anthony T. Lane Elementary PTA) and/or Follow us on Twitter (@LanePTA) for up to date information. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PTA BOARD-ELECT FOR THE 2012-13 SCHOOL YEAR!
President-Elect: Sharon Sussin VP, Communicatons-Elect: Randi Dolphin VP, Education-Elect: OPEN VP, Fundraising-Elect: Jaurin Joseph VP, Social-Elect: Pamela Dorsey Secretary-Elect: Deb Malinowski Treasurer-Elect: Kim Britton We are always in need of volunteers and there are numerous opportunities to get involved that can accommodate everyone’s schedules, including parents who work fulltime. Parent volunteers and community involvement during the school year are essential for a successful PTA. If you are interested in volunteering, send an email to volunteers@lanepta.org and let us know how you would like to assist. Remember that everything that the PTA does benefits the entire student body at Lane, so any support you are able to provide is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
In addition to volunteering, the Board encourages all families to join the PTA at an annual cost of only $10 per individual (adult). Support from our PTA membership has funded, among other things, enrichment programs for before, during, and after school; teacher professional development; and new learning technologies such as Smart Boards.
