New Kit Order Soon!

I have been meaning to do this for a while, but have struggled to find the time. If there is sufficient interest to justify it I will place another order with MSTINA.

Prices are dependent on order size so basically the bigger the order the lower the cost. Based on the last order assuming there is sufficient interest then the maximum costs are likely to be:

Short sleeve jersey (12 cm zip) £32.66 plus VAT

Bibshorts £39.14 plus VAT

Winter long sleeve jersey £43.61 plus VAT

Summer long sleeve jersey £36.57 plus VAT

Raintex Gilet £41.94 plus VAT

Bibtights - lycra £43.19 plus VAT, thermolite £47.44 plus VAT

Short sleeve skinsuit £66.00 plus VAT

Long sleeve skinsuit £67.80 plus VAT

Also available (prices on request) are:

Short sleeve jersey with full length zip, Windtex winter jacket, mitts, winter gloves, windtex collar/hat, klear rain jacket, klear gilet, lycra overshoes, windtex overshoes, legwarmers, armwarmers, kneewarmers, baselayers - all of these items are subject to minimum order quantities, please contact me if you are interested in purchasing any of these.

Size wise, you have the option of:

Children 10-12

XXS - 35 inch chest

XS - 36 inch chest

S - 37 inch chest

M - 39 inch chest

L - 42 inch chest

XL - 44 inch chest

XXL - 46 inch chest

XXXL - 48 inch chest

If there is sufficient interest then I would aim to submit an order by the end of the end of September/early October(the MSTINA factory is shut in August so no mad rush).

At the recent QGM, the new kit design was chosen and the final agreed version is attached.

We are now in a position to place an order.

For those interested in adding the new kit to their wardrobe, you have the following items to choose from:

These prices are based on a minimum order size of 50 items, if we manage to put in a big order than that, then I will try and negotiate price reductions.

I have a range of samples you can try for sizing purposes, please contact me if you wish to try some of the kit for size.

I would like to submit an order on Monday 28th March, so if you are interested in buying any of the kit, then please let me know as soon as possible.

In terms of payment, we have to pay 50% on order and the remaining 50% on receipt. It would be easier if you could pay the full amount upfront, but if you would prefer to pay half now and the remainder on delivery then that is fine. Please make cheques payable to Lancaster CC and send them to me. Please let me know if you are placing an order and putting a cheque in the post.

New Club Kit

From a range of seven possible designs presented by the clubs clothing secretary Phil Shaw at the Club QGM last night (4th March 2011) a desision was finally made. There is still a little bit of minor tweaking to be done with the design but this is the chosen design.

Weekend club rides

Now that the racing season is coming to a close I am proposing that we put a programme together of weekend club rides to maintain the momentum of the club over the winter.

I am thinking of a couple of hours on a Sunday morning or a Saturday to suit all abilities. If we get enough members out together we can split into groups depending on what members want to do.

Let me know what you think and I will put a suggested programme together.

End of the Season is Nigh!

1st September 2009.

Yesterday saw the last of the clubs TTs, with the exception of the Boxing Day '10', but it is not time for me to put away my stopwatches yet. The next two Thursday's see the two stage LCC Hill Climb Championship stating with the short sharp climb of Condor Bottoms starting at 7pm on Thursday the 3rd. This is followed by the longer Jubilee Towers climb on the 10th starting at the earlier time of 6:30pm.
