A little bit about me: my name is Leslie Allums.  This is my second assignment at Calvary Christian Academy.  I have tutored and taught math for 10 years.  Although my formal training is in English and Literature, I have always found math irresistible.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz and I am currently writing my Master’s Thesis for a Master’s degree in World and Comparative Literature from San Francisco State University.  I absolutely love to learn and to teach.  I also love swimming, reading, listening to live music, playing guitar and watching tennis tournaments.  I approach teaching with a sincere enthusiasm and humility knowing I can learn as much from my students as they can learn from me.
