Thanks to the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and the Earthwatch Organization, I was provided an opportunity of a lifetime. As an Earthwatch Educator Fellow, I worked side-by-side with scientists and Ph.D. students from Drexel Universtiy, on site at Barnegat Bay, NJ, in their quest to learn more about the conservation of a species of concern--the Diamondback Terrrapin!
