Coquilles Saint-Jacques Nantaise

1 1/2 lbs. Scallops, washed

Salt

White Pepper

2 Tbs. Butter

1/3 cup Shallots, minced

1 stick Butter melted ( I used less )

2/3 cup dry bread crumbs

3 Tbs. Parsley, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Dry the scallops and cut them if they are large. Season them with salt and white pepper and put them into buttered shells.

In 2 Tbs. butter saute the shallots and distribute them over the scallops. Sprinkle the melted butter and bread crumbs over the scallops.

Set the shells in the preheated oven. Cook for about 12 minutes or until the scallops are tender. Sprinkle with minced parsley and serve immediately.
