Introduction to Glass Fusing Thursday September 3 or Thursday October 8 or Thursday November 3 or Thursday December 3, 20096 pm to 8:30 One session 2 1/2 hours each $35 per person. Materials Fee $15 Learn the technique of fused glass jewelry making. Make 3 pieces out of fused glass, your choice of pendant, pins, or earrings. Maximum 12 students. Teacher: Jennifer Szalkowski
Beginning Watercolor Workshop Saturday August 29, or September 12, or September 26, or October 10, 2009 2 pm to 5 pm One sessions 3 hours $35 per person if you sign up for one session, pay only $30 per class if you sign up for 3 or more sessions at a time. Learn basic watercolor techniques and create a still life. Teacher will provide paper, paints, and brushes or bring your own. Call for a material list. Beginning Beading Thursday September 10, 2009 or October 1 or October 15 or November 5 or November 19 6 pm to 8:30 pm One session 2 1/2 hours $30 per person. $20 materials fee. Students will learn how to make a simple basic bracelet with copper and freshwater pearls, using tools, wire, crimps and adding a clasp. Students can bring their own beads, however, copper, pearls, beading wire, crimps and clasps will be provided by instructor. Maximum 12 students. Teacher: Paula Atwell
Oil Painting Workshop Wednesday, September 2 and September 23 or October 7 and October 21 or November 4 or November 18 2 pm to 5 pm. Two sessions 3 hours each $40 per person. $15 Materials fee. Students will paint a still life under the instructio of an experienced oil painter. Students must provide paints, brushes, and 16" x 20" canvas. If you have an easel, and want to paint on it, bring it. Teacher will provide turpentine, linseed oil, and varnish. Maximum 10 students. Teacher: Mata Bottum Ziegler
