She has also instructed at Harmony IntensiveTraining School.
Melodie is excited to be joining LCH and looks forward to helping us to move forward in our art form.
Welcome Melodie!
If you love to sing and perform, this is the chorus for you.
We are extremely friendly and supportive, and have a wonderful time
while we make beautiful music together. We are based in Orillia but we come from many different communities; Barrie, Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Coldwater.
No music training is required. We will teach you all about a cappella singing in the barbershop style.
As long as you can sing in tune, you can sing barbershop.
We perform frequently in the community, staging an annual show and a Christmas community sing-along. We perform for special functions as well as visit retirement homes.
We welcome women of all ages at any time of year.
OUR PRINCIPLES AND IDEALS
The "Harmony Creed" is really our "Norms" and sets forth how we
want to be treated, and how we intend to treat our sisters in Harmony
whenever we're together.
want to be treated, and how we intend to treat our sisters in Harmony
whenever we're together.
Mindful of our principles and ideals: - we will be , punctual, professional, &
considerate while on risers, at singouts, while learning new music, etc. We
especially want to Listen, speak and act respectfully to one another.
Inspired: -rehearsals need to be fun - with a balance between work and
laughter; we need to inspire one another to do our best every week before, during, and after rehearsal and singouts

Constructive: in our work for HI.... (Hard work is fun when progress is
evident). -- we'll "get out" of this hobby what we put into it; let's work

together to achieve more.
