| Hi there! My name is Lajos (it's Hungarian for Louis) and I live in a suburb called Woonona, in a city called Wollongong, in the state of New South Wales, in the country called Australia. This website and linked pages will preview the many strings to my bow. You'll be able to see the things I get up to to fill in my time. To pay my bills I teach at the University of Wollongong in classes from first year introduction classes to second and third year culture, film and literature studies. I also am a working artist. Recently I've been producing podcasts for an international IT company based in Canberra (see eternal donut link). Also, I've been involved in the production of a series of community development theatre events in conjunction with the Illawarra Legal Service.

This is my son Tom and my wife Susie. They apparently like me well enough to keep hanging out with me - so that's a good thing.
This is me 'swimming' in Dove Lake at the base of Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. Estimated water temperature: 7 degrees C. I enjoy body surfing and swim throughout the year!
