Lane Tech teachers use a system called Gradebook to keep track of students' grades. Teachers will post grades, assignments and attendance notes on this website. As a parent/ legal guardian, you have access to your student’s grades and attendance information through the Parent Portal. The information needed to create your account is listed below. It is your responsibility to regularly check your student’s grades and attendance so that we can work together in a timely fashion to address any questions or concerns that arise. ***You should not share your username and password with your student as he/she will have his/her own username and password. Step 1: Go to: http://impact.cps.k12.il.us/applications.asp Step 2: Click on: Parent Portal Step 3: Under the log in boxes, there is a link “Click here to sign up” Step 4: Create your account. Step 5: After your account is created, you will need to link your student’s information to your account.
