Laila: She already knows that she is nothing more than a bulldog and I am the real wolf.....The dog knows the wolf is higher on the food chain. |

Laila Ali: What do you think I'm gonna to do when they say women shouldn't box? Yea, that's right! Rumble young girl, rumble.
Gail: And so she did. Her being hard headed got me into watching women's boxing. Thanks Laila. I miss you in boxing. |

Christy: Most of the time I say the toughest fight I have had is with me and that is kinda still the answer. I have a hard time living with the fact that I took a knee against Laila Ali. I should have gotten up one more time, I would have felt better about the outcome had she knocked me out. I feel like I quit on me and all of the people that have supported me throughout my career.
Gail: If Christy had to turn back and do it all over again, here is what she would do.....
Christy: Get up again in the Ali fight.

Laila: Impossible Is Nothing.....
Gail: Laila has Christ hidden message in her Adidas commercial. Matt. 19:26...but with God all things are possible. Take him at his word and believe.

Ann Wolfe: I ain’t never ran from nobody and never will because one thing about me, I ain’t scared of sh_t. I ain’t scared of nobody but my shadow and it‘s because it will fight back.
If I really and truly knew in my heart that I had to face myself, I would quit boxing…..
Gail: Ann truly needs someone to box so that she won’t have to compare herself to self.
Ann Wolfe: Laila is not the one I want to fight. Laila is where the money is, and you know I know I’m the best. Nobody don’t have to tell me that I’m the best. I don’t have to prove anything to nobody. She has everything to loose and to gain by beating me. I’m a homeless bum; a scrub. She’s the daughter of the greatest fighter of all times. I think her daddy know better than to let her get in the ring with me. I’m worried about saving a child. I’m worried about getting a kid off of the street. Fighting Laila is nothing.
Gail: I don’t think Laila has too much to say. If Ann can get her in the ring, I think she’ll talk then. She wanted to box Laila the whole time she has been in boxing and nothing has happened. That’s sad. Fighting Laila certainly is nothing because it doesn’t look like it’s ever going to happen. |

Muhammad Ali: I can admit my own fault, and my only fault is I don't know how great I really am.
Gail: Laila will tell you that she's great without a doubt. No one has proved her wrong so far. I don't know why everybody is waiting on Laila. She was waiting on everybody else. I don't think Laila has a fault right there. They never showed up and that is their fault. When Laila is beaten in the ring, then you might hear her admit a fault. |

Muhammad Ali: I'm deceiving the American press. I'm tricking them. I'm telling them that I might fight again. If I say I'm through completely, they'll take my title and give it to some other bum...................
I'm telling you, I'm not going to fight no more, but I might fight again.
Gail: I saw Mr. Ali on an old film talking and being interviewed outdoors. That's where I got his quote. He was funny. Now read Laila's quote.
Laila Ali: I’m not quitting boxing, I’ve taken a hiatus (a break) because I wasn’t really feeling challenged. I may decide I don’t want to box any more. I would love to go into the area of cooking, and nutrition, and teaching people how to be healthy.
Gail: Laila is too much like her father, but she is more serious than he was.
Laila Ali: ......I have a void that I want to fill. The public thinks...if there will even be a challenge for me, I want to show them that it is impossible to beat me.
Laila Ali: .......... I would love to sit down and talk to my dad about the way he used to be when he was my age, when he was in his prime, because we are so much alike.
Gail: Don't worry, Laila. Even if you can't talk much with your father, knowing what your dad was like when he was your age is there for you to see, and your father can see too. It can't be hidden. I know he's tickled, and I'm not even there to see him at all. It's just there. |

Laila: It’s just that you’re a little crazy, to want to be a fighter. Most people are weak. Back in the day when people were in tribes, and they were fighting each other, and they had something to fight for, most people wouldn’t want to be on the front line, because they’re afraid of getting hurt. It takes a lot of courage, obviously. I’d have been one of those warriors. I would have been a leader of the tribe.
Gail: Laila, you are a leader and a great one. You have an image of a fighter, you are a fighter, and it makes other women want to be strong. It makes other women want to fight. It's nice to see a woman in reality that fights. Most of the time it's Super Woman or Wonder Woman in comic books. You are a real woman and a real fighter. It has a great affect on people's lives.
Laila: Women don’t need to box. But if they want to box, then they just need to go on and pursue it. I think that anyone should do anything they want to do in life. You only have one life to live. And you shouldn’t let anybody define your life for you. But I don’t ever say, “Women, you should go box.” I think that you’re better off not boxing, cuz it’s a little crazy to begin with. And if you have to fight me, you’re gonna end up getting your ass beat.
Gail: I think women should get in the gym and practice boxing for self-defense at least. Women get robbed and raped. They need to have some knowledge about boxing or kung-fu. I say women should go box. If I had to fight you, I may get my you know what beat, but it would teach me how to fight. I would learn something for my own good. Fightinig Laila would make me tough. I don't care about the competition. I wouldn't care about the money. I wouldn't miss something that I never had. However, I would get something out of it. |

Laila: Anybody with a big nose, I break it (the crowd laughs). No, seriously, that's just the truth. It's in the way. It's just there.
Gail: Well, I have a small nose, and it's there. It's enough that it can be broken. I have a small face, and the boxing gloves are as big as my face. So, if I was in the ring with Laila Ali, I would be doomed no matter what. |

Laila Ali: He knows he had a great life, knows he’s a blessed man, a talented man, a fortunate man. Also he’s so spiritual. He says well maybe I’m sick because of some of the wrong I did. He says I rather be punished in this life than in the hereafter.
Gail: Laila, God can forgive sins and heal your father from his sickness. He must believe that, and you must believe. Mr. Ali still knows how to think and pray. God can hear his thoughts.
St. Luke 5:22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? (23) Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? (24) But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
The word was written for your father, Laila. It was written for us. It is a guide that is speaking to us. See it? There is a chance your father can be healed too. Yea, he may have done wrong, and when he was a young man. He is older and wiser now. Mr. Ali has a chance. Pray and ask God to let it be his will. I'm praying with you. | |
