Wow, it's already Fall and we are well into October. October has always been my favorite month, although without Dad it's a bittersweet time. Still the colors are starting to show in the trees and the country drives are becoming even more scenic.

 

This Fall Tyler entered high school. He's doing really well as a freshman and is playing football and bringing home great grades! He's taking an engineering class and seems to really like it!!  Justin is a sophomore this year and taking lots of math! He still seems to love that and does really well at it!  Hard to believe just a couple years from now he'll be entering college!  He has a drivers license now and also a job, to help cover the car expense. He's getting super grades too. He's no longer in football due to concussions, but is still able to participate in track in discus and shotput and is looking forward to that! I'm sure they will both participate again this Spring in the USATF Junior Olympic track season.

 

Mike and I are doing the usual - work, work, work. =) But we are both so fortunate to have jobs in this economy! Mike is about 2 years away from retirement now. I hope he'll retire then!

 

I've been really enjoying my every-other-weekend visits with my Mom! She's doing great and is so busy!!  She's the best!!
