For me the WAW is a great
acquaintance! Very quick, very stable, very
good luggage capacity … And it goes
very straight also in high speeds (comparing to a ******* which tends to
move a
little from one side to the other) . A safe body. Easier to transport
comparing
to other velomobiles because you can take off the front and the tail.
And now a
third generation with a chain protection for the right leg, with a chain
separated from the rear wheel, a possibility to lock the visor and an
airsound
included. And on the top of all these facts you are now developing an
indicator
system!

Het rijden met de WAW 081 verloopt ondertussen vlotjes. Het maakt m'n werkdag een pak aangenamer en sportiever. Leentje Verboven, Belgie. |

Hello Dries, at long last some fotos of the WAW. After several hundred kilometers and some adjusting to my physique (it fits me now like a glove but there is not a millimeter wasted room) I am utterly satisfied with the machine. I would never have thought that weight is that crucial ( my WAW weighs in now at exactly 27.75 kg complete with hood and visor, all lights and electrical wiring and accumulator, headrest and ventisit mat , bottleholder and 2 allen keys). My cruising speed has dramatically risen although I even put less strain into the pedalling, it just rolls so easily. Use the fotos in the way you like and thank's once again, keep up the good work! And by the way, if you ever develop a seat for taller people let me know this one is just a tick too short in the back for me. Ik ben gisteren een proefrit gaan maken. Ik voelde me vooral veiliger dan op de ligfiets. Ondanks dat het buiten slechts 4 graden was, had ik het binnen lekker warm met een fris briesje in mijn gezicht, heerlijk. Filip van Gelder, BE |

Ce matin là, en partance pour le vélotaf, j'étais trop occupé par un changement de ma roue arrière la veille, pour me rendre compte que la chaussée était une vrai patinoire !!! J'ai environ 100 m de descente en partant de mon domicile puis la route tourne franchement à droite. Je devais être à 30 - 35 km/h au moment de tourner mais je n'ai jamais pu négocier la courbe et j'ai fini ma course dans un poteau de signalisation accompagné d'un énorme fracas !!! 
Le waw052 immobilisé, je n'en revenais pas de ne pas être blessé.
Je suis sorti du vélomobile et j'ai constaté que la partie avant était pulvérisée !!!
 
Je me suis résigné à partir en voiture et dès le lendemain j'ai ressorti les creux par l'intérieur. La fibre de kevlar a un formidable effet memoire car le nez du vélo était très fissuré mais il avait retrouvé sa forme initiale. C'est cette flexibilité qui a sans doute amorti le choc.
 
Il n'a suffit à Brecht et Dries de chez FIETSER que 10 jours pour me construire un nouveau nez que je suis allé chercher à GENT en Belgique, ce qui m'a permis de voire où sont construit les waw.
...Non les roues n'ont rien, ni la structure, uniquement le nez... Merci au waw d'être fait en trois parties...
