Before starting her own work, Lisa had experience of housing and private residential projects, including a year spent working for a social housing practice in Paris, a new apartment building for David Quigley Architects and apartments within mostly listed buildings for Christopher Smallwood Architects. Like many architects, Lisa became interested in private residential projects because of the opportunities they offer as small but complete realisations. An early opportunity to carry out the alterations & extensions for a large private house, led to further small projects, altering her own house, wallpaper designs(!). This work was carried out in paralell with freelancing for various design firms in London, UK.
