Hello and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Kyle Ross and I am on the job market in Economics. Currently, I am a graduate student at Kansas State University and will graduate with a Ph.D. in Economics in May 2009. This fall I am teaching two different classes at K-State, Intermediate Microeconomics (ECON 520) and Managerial Economics (ECON 540). Previously, I taught Money and Banking (ECON 530) for four semesters. I have also taught Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 110) twice over the summer. My dissertation focuses on issues that face different sets of policymakers. The three essays in my dissertation are "Biodiversity, Intellectual Property Rights and North-South Trade," "How Posh is Becks' Salary and Other Factors Affecting MLS Attendance" and "Market Power, Moral Hazard and Demand for Health Insurance." |
