WelcomeI completed the Sea Mammal Research Unit’s Research Masters in Marine Mammal Science at the University of St Andrews, Scotland in November 2008. My thesis project for this program was titled Relative habitat use of two ecotypes of killer whale (Orcinus orca) in the inland waters of southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia and Washington State.
In December I moved back to Victoria, Canada and am now pursuing a PhD on the marine mammals around southwest Vancouver Island. Here is a bio of how I ended up where I am today... Bio I have been involved in a variety of marine research and ecotourism activities since 1995 including:
