I was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to parents who were both Kentuckian. I was raised in Louisville, KY. in what is locally referred to as "the West End" or "Portland." I am finally back home in Kentuckiana: Louisville, Portland neighborhood. I've lived in some pretty ritzy neighborhoods in my day. None truly felt like "home."
I'm 46 years old. After 25 years of long hours nursing finally caught up with me, I am now disabled. I was able to hold out until I got my two sons raised. That is one thing I am proud of. Even though I am now disabled, I am looking for ways to be contributory to society. I hopefully have years still ahead of me. Even though I will not be in the workplace, I am actively seeking my "niche" to help serve my community and my beloved home town of Louisville. I am currently an active member of my local police auxiliary. I have also recently discovered "citizen journalism." My articles are available on http://kyanabelle.newsvine.com/
I have developed a strong interest in being supportive of law enforcement while also becoming involved in civil rights, the launching of a third viable political party (The Centrist Party) having the death penalty abolished, and in defeating the strangle-hold that mega-corporations have on our congressional representatives. I am a strong proponent of localizing our economy and voting with our money, one dollar at a time, against Big Business and Big Oil. I also encourage support for our local farm families instead of big agri-pharming operations.
While you're here, listen to some of my son, Michael's, music. All tracks are BMI registered and ©, 2008
