ADM MS Writing‎ > ‎

Our 6th grade Classroom is room 902 in the Middle School.

Some of my favorite parts of our classroom (besides the students) is our classroom independent reading library, the Stellar Speller wall that recognizes students applying spelling lessons to their writing, and the records of learning on the west board.

We are blessed with four computer labs on our 6-12th grade campus, and try to use technology to research and publish our writing whenever possible.

Room 902 is used for six sections of 6th grade writing during the day, SSR everyday after lunch, and for Ms Kunde's Homeroom 9th hour.

Hi!

My name is Jen Kunde and this is my 5th year teaching Middle School English at Adel Desoto Minburn Middle School! I'm very excited to start the year! I love teaching in the ADM School district and am a big supporter of ADM Athletics and Fine Arts... Go Tigers!

Besides teaching, I also coach MS Girls Volleyball at ADM, and I am a building representative for various committees in our district. In my after-school time, I tutor at Sylvan Learning Center in Urbandale and, in any spare time (which I don't have much of!), I visit my BIG family as often as I can in Tipton, Iowa... we especially love having birthday parties... and I love to read. I have a list of book recommendations a mile long!

I look forward to meeting all my students and their families in the near future!
