I graduated from the prestigious Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar in 2005, and joined The Masters in Information Technology program at International Institute of Information Technology, BangaloreInterests:
I take pride in researching & developing intelligent systems, and using/developing technologies which make a difference in the life of a person. Some of these include Computer Vision, Biometric Authentication, Intelligent User-Interfaces, Context-aware & mobile computing, Intelligent Systems in Health-Care etc.
Work Experience Including Industrial Internships:
I currently work for Pramati Technologies, Hyderabad as a development engineer and work on EZMarket: Java/J2EE based B2B auctions product.
I did my internship at Siemens Corporate Technologies, Bangalore, and researched & developed a Pedestrian Detection System for Driver Assistance in Intelligent Vehicles. I also did a part of coursework at Microsoft Research Bangalore on Intelligent Signal Processing.
I was a part of Intel's Rotation Engineer's Program, one of the most elite & prestigious career development program for Recent College Graduates in the Industry, in which only 5-7 make it in India. I worked in Intel, Bangalore for roughly 1.5 years in various groups: Customer Capability - Online Solutions group, Intel Labs: The R&D Wing of Intel which does applied research for next generation Intel Products/Solutions & Design & Technology Solutions as a CAD Engineer. Being a Rotation Engineer, I got exposed to multiple domains and still enjoying it! Rotation Engineering Program really rocks! I had lots of fun and incredible amount of learning!
I worked for Siemens Corporate Technology, India in Intelligent Signal Processing - Software Technologies group, working on various research & Technology areas: like Automated ECG Signal Analysis, Driver Assistance Systems, Human Recognition etc.
Personality:
As a person, I'm a perfectionist and rationalist, while being simple, honest, true-to-heart and peace-loving. I believe in the bottom-line, and not get influenced so easily.
I've traveled and lived in several states in India (AP being my 8th state of residence after Jharkhand, Orissa, M.P., Chhatisgarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai/Pune & Bangalore. You can call me a true Indian :), and seen diverse cultures, traditions, ways of living, socio-economic conditions, values etc. I also got a chance to spend a week in the bay area in California during the Rotation Engineers' Summit :) Was THE time of my life!
I like visiting places of natural beauty, esp. countryside, playing with kids (:)), very fond of gadgets, vocals & music overall.
