    • Compilation tool-chain developed using LLVM, Clang frontend/NVIDIA OpenCL drivers
    • Wrote runtime drivers for OpenCL
    • Benchmarks used: OpenCL SDKs from NVIDIA and AMD, HPEC (High Performance Embedded Computing)

Data cache prefetching using stream buffers

    Industry Project                                                                                                              May 2009 - May 2010
    • Studied effects of stream buffers on performance using trace-driven simulations and detailed memory modeling for next generation architecture
    • Used profiling and instrumentation for compiler guided optimization
    • Worked on Blackfin port for detailed analysis on execution driven M5 simulator

Embedded platform: ARM + embedded GPU

    Course Project                                                                                                                May 2009 - May 2010
    • Developed heterogeneous embedded platform in SpecC environment using ARM processor model from OVPsim and embedded GPU by modifying GPGPUsim simulator
    • Used AMBA AHB system bus model for communication between ARM and embedded GPU
    • Provided flexibility to extend the platform to add other components or libraries
