Why Kudzu?

I have always been fascinated by kudzu. If you have never seen a "field" (not sure what else to call it) of kudzu, then you should try to find a pic on the web. It can be amazing. It is a vine that has the potential to take over the whole Southeast. And as much as I love to exaggerate, that is the truth. It loves the weather here, and can swallow power poles, trees, fields, even houses if left unchecked. I guess I am fascinated by it because it reminds me of my mind. It has runners going off in every direction and circling between each other. Which is much like my thought process. Tangled and twisted. And I have times in my life when my leaves are out and I am happy in the sunshine, then other times when I lie dormant, looking (and feeling) a little dead inside until my inner winter is over. Plus, kudzu seems like a totally useless plant, but it actually can be used for things. You have to be a little creative to use it, and have some imagination, which is just like me also - I may seem useless, but  I can be very creative and imaginative.
