Here are a few fundraising ideas to help you collect your donations for An Unforgettable Crop for Kids. We have requested a minimum donation of $100.00 be turned in at registration the morning of the crop.  The scrapper who brings in the most money in donations will win a $500.00 gift card to Collective Journey!

Host a scrapbook event at your house: Invite 10 to 12 scrapbooking buddies over for 6 hours of scrapbook fun, charge them $10.00 to $15.00. Serve light snacks and drinks.

Host a Bingo Party: Sell bingo cards; half the pot goes to the Bingo winner and the other half of the pot goes towards your donations!

Send out fundraising letters: This allows you to reach more people than just asking in person or on the phone. (we’ve included a sample letter for you to sign, duplicate and send out!)

Matching funds: Ask your employer about matching the funds your raise.

Change drive: Enlist the help of your family and friends to empty their pockets of change at the end of each day, it adds up fast. Ask around to see if you can leave cans, to collect change, at places you frequent. Places like your hairdresser, the dry cleaners, or your dentist.

Yard Sales: Gather together unwanted and unused items put up a few signs and you’re in business.  Ask neighbors to participate and make it a block party!

Check with the local restaurants in your area: Some of them have fundraising plans that are easy to do and will give you a portion of their proceeds for a specific night. Some of the restaurants are Soup Plantation, Pat and Oscars, Outback Steakhouse, Cold Stone Creamery…. a lot of them offer fundraising evenings, just stop in and ask to speak to the manager.  If you need brochures from The Unforgettables Foundation.
