Night at the MuseumNo,
not the Ben Stiller movie playing at the local cineplex (though that
sure looks like fun). We're talking about the spectacular Second
Annual School-wide Art Show staged by the KT Murphy Arts Department and
featuring the works of every student currently attending. Below are a
few shots taken from the event, which took place on the evening of May
14. Many thanks again to curators Catie Ramsey and Safia Hakkam, and
to all at the Murph who worked together to create such a lovely
composition. As always, if you've got any snapshots you'd like to share, send them along to us!A few photos from the Reading Rocks event at K.T. MurphyYoung Murphy Masters Play City HallA K.T. Murphy Student Art Display was exhibited at the Stamford Government Center from November 6, 2008 to January 5, 2009. The show is now over, but you can still see these fabulous works of art right here at ktmurphymatters.com 1/01/08) NORWALK – Hundreds of people in Stamford attended a health fair Saturday, which provided them with much needed care and information. The free health fair was held at K.T. Murphy Elementary School in Stamford and offered free flu shots, yoga lessons, blood pressure and cholesterol test and mammographies. Organizers say the fair offered uninsured residents an option to get essential healthcare. In addition to the free services, adults and children were encouraged to participate in educational games and learn about healthy eating, exercise and safety. Members of the parent teacher organization say more than 350 people attended the event.
